What is the difference between Plain Bottom Hem and Cuffed Hem for Dress trousers?
We offer 2 different styles of trouser hems for online orders, which are explained below:

Plain Bottom Hem: This is the most common type of trouser hem, which is finished with a simple, plain hem at the bottom. It’s a sleek, minimalist look that is best on more formal suits & trousers. When in doubt, a plain bottom hem is always a sharp choice.

Cuffed Hem: Also known as Permanent Turn-Ups, or PTUs, cuffs originated with the Prince of Wales in 1890. They were originally designed to protect your trousers from wet, muddy weather. They are a useful feature for adding some additional weight to the bottom of your trouser legs to improve the drape. Cuffs are an excellent choice for trousers in more casual fabrics such as flannel or tweed. However, we do not recommend them for formal suits or eveningwear.

How Long Does Trouser Hemming Take?

Please allow 5-7 business days for trouser hemming before your order is shipped. Please note that there may be a slight delay during periods of high order volume.

Can I Return Trousers That Have Been Hemmed?

Since the garment has been altered, unfortunately hemmed trousers are not eligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges. As such, please ensure that your inseam length is accurate when choosing our trouser hemming service.
